Podcast Production

There are “comfortable” podcasts (everyone sitting on a couch in the garage), and there are “professional” podcasts. Those of the comfortable type are often unfocused, and the professional kind can be stiff.

But there’s no reason you can’t have both. We just have to give your guests a relaxed atmosphere, keep the communication flowing, and keep the quality high for listeners.

Your brand has a sound, and nowhere is that more evident than on your company podcast!

How We Can Help

… with Podcast Recording

Let’s clarify right up front that individuals trying to launch a podcast probably don’t need the services of Colors Audio. We work well with businesses, ministries, and other organizations that are driven to deliver a high-quality audio show on a consistent basis.

The Space.

With the technology available today, a noisy or poorly-recorded podcast can be “fixed” to a great extent. But there will never be a substitute for getting a clean recording at the source.

And we’ve designed the Talent Studio to be comfortable. That’s important for helping your podcast guests relax and “just have a conversation” with you.

Recording.

Nothing is compromised here just because you’re recording a “mere” podcast, rather than an animated film slated for worldwide release. An experienced audio specialist is helping you at all times, making sure that your listeners hear the ideas and emotions you’re developing during that half-hour or so.

Editing.

OK, this is where it gets real. Editing a podcast — where we always have newbie guests doing newbie things — is a labor of love. We tend to price our podcast services per episode or per finished minute, not by how long it takes to clean and mix everything, because we don’t want to be watching the clock when we’re doing some extraordinary bit of audio rescue. This just has to be right, and we’re going to make it right.

Mixing and Mastering.

Your company’s podcast will be swimming in the vast ocean of podcasts, competing on content, but also on sound quality and loudness. It’s essential to know the competitive environment, and to meet listener expectations.

A word about video: Colors Audio is not a video company, but you’re welcome to bring in video gear and/or a videographer, if you want to make a video podcast.

Let’s talk about how Colors Audio can make your podcasts shine.
